A.C. Lighting Asia KK Opens for Business

A.C. Lighting Asia KK held its first customer open day in Tokyo this summer, to help raise awareness of the recently opened Japan sales office. Over 300 visitors from rental companies, TV stations, theatres, lighting companies, lighting designers, freelancers and sales companies, attended the event.

A.C. Lighting Asia KK is a single source supplier of the very latest stage, studio and event lighting products, accessories and consumables, delivering thousands of leading brands throughout Japan at competitive prices.

As the exclusive Japanese distributor for the award-winning Chroma-Q^® LED range, A.C. Lighting Asia KK gave visitors an exclusive demonstration of the manufacturer’s recently launched Color Block 2 fixture, which combines the original unit’s versatile design with improved optics, colour mixing, dimming and light output levels to create an exceptional second generation feature set. The open day also featured demonstrations of other LED fixtures, colour changers, gobo rotators and related lighting accessories in the Chroma-Q product range.

Since the event, A.C. Lighting Asia KK has supplied equipment ranging from Chroma-Q products, Par lanterns and control consoles, through to power and data cables, connectors, custom gobos and smoke fluid.

A representative from Halo, which provides lighting services for various events and theatres, commented: “I didn't know A.C. Lighting Asia KK when I received the invitation. I went to the open day just out of curiosity and was very surprised by the Color Block 2, which is the best LED product I’ve ever seen. Also, I was very impressed by seeing so many visitors there.”
