Based around the Color Block's modular, multi-purpose design,
the Color Split features larger dual side-by-side RGBA cells.
This ingenious configuration provides designers with the flexibility to
light with a bold single colour or project a wide range of dramatic split
colour effects from a single LED fixture - making it ideal as a truss toner
for illuminating the uprights and crossbraces.

"Although I had so many instruments to choose from, I specified the Color Split fixtures on this project for several reasons. The incredible flexibility you get by having two colors and angles at the same time from one LED unit. The punch you get from the units - I was able to have nice, smooth, bright, even, color projected an amazingly long distance from such a small LED unit. The colors are so warm and eye pleasing, and work so well with the moving heads we put in the venue."

"The Color Split fixtures were great for picking out key details on the car. I chose the Chroma-Q™ (Color Split and Color Punch™) fixtures because they're nice compact, self contained units with the ability to daisy chain them together - providing a very neat appearance with minimal clutter and cabling. They're also very quick and easy to set up and have a rugged design, making them ideal for temporary installations."

"The Color Split is ideal for our needs. It provides a very smooth colour change without any sudden 'jumps' that are common with other products and also a very smooth output for uplighting columns or walls. The colour mixing effects are also very impressive - I've seen people trying to use multiple units to achieve a similar effect and failing. Having an onboard PSU and DMX means no faff and it's got a minimal footprint for tight event spaces. It's also sensibly constructed and has a simple, user-friendly mode and address system - so a great all-round design."

"The Color Split produces the closest light output to that of an asymmetric cyc flood, of any LED product we've seen so far and offers significantly more even colour transmission in this application than conventional LED products. Its modular nature makes it flexible enough to be used in a huge variety of applications and, as large stockholders of the Chroma-Q Color Block™, we are confident in the consistency and reliability of the product."
