Entertainment Lighting Applications
Suitable Products for Film and Television
The technical demands required for LED film and television lighting are substantial. The high quality of light required for close up shots must emulate full spectrum (CRI) lighting at various colour temperatures. Also, the specific nature of how the film and video cameras collect their images can cause LED fixtures to create visible pulsing and flickering unless addressed by the LED fixture manufacturer.
The Chroma-Q Studio Force daylight and variable white, Color Force and Color Block 2 RGBA LED ranges are flicker free and feature a high CRI, making them suitable for use as film and television lighting.
The new Studio Force Phosphor range utilises innovative LED technologies found in the Studio Force range to provide an equivalent soft edge output to a fluorescent fixture - up to 7,000 lumens - developed specifically for use in TV, film and broadcast studio environments. A host of other features make them ideal for this type of application.
